Initial Release
First public release of the ST3215 servo library. Tagged v0.9.0 on GitHub.
The library handles:
- Half-duplex UART with configurable direction-switch timing
- Packet construction and checksum validation
- Basic position and velocity commands
- Error handling for timeouts and corrupt responses
Tested on Raspberry Pi 4 and Pi 5 at 1Mbaud. Should work on any Linux host with a UART interface.
The three existing libraries I evaluated before writing this are all broken in different ways. Details in the write-up linked from the README.
